Emillio Travis John (DJ M.1.L.O), a 20 year old music producer from Durban, South Africa, is known for his unorthodox production style and attention to detail in a mix. The musical production journey began at the age of 18, and has continuously progressed from that stage. Being a big lover of Dutch house, DJ M.1.L.O started by producing a number of Dutch house bootlegs and in the process exploring many different production techniques. The motto is “Bass in your face” as this talented producer would say. Thick and heavy kickdrums with ear numbing basslines are the key elements in his productions.

After mastering the art of Dutch house DJ M.1.L.O began to drift into electro and tech house, each with their challenges and unique approaches. 2012 has been a good year of musical magic from this producer, as he produced some major remixes, with his piano remix of Adele – Set fire to the rain ranking up in the top spots.
